She tried, then she failed.
She trusted, she was disappointed.

But ultimately,
she still dreams,
still believes in all the beautiful things in this world:
kindness,
promises &
true love.

she tries with all her might,
loves like she has never been hurt,
lives like there is no tomorrow,
for she knows that her happiness lies in none other than her own hands & she doesn't want the present to become her regret of tomorrow.

irony

It is quite an irony that how you can be so used to the idea of being alone, totally comfortable to be on your own. Then one day, you met someone & were convinced that you could just rely on him & you would never be alone again but eventually, he left & somehow, you would just have to learn to be independent all over again.

Sometimes, when you feel tired & lonely, it is so tempting to just find someone whom you could rely on, a shoulder which you could lean on simply in the hope to fill up that emptiness in your heart. But soon, you will realise that it is not going to work that way. That is, when even the exact sentence could feel so different plainly because the person is no longer him.
