She tried, then she failed.
She trusted, she was disappointed.

But ultimately,
she still dreams,
still believes in all the beautiful things in this world:
kindness,
promises &
true love.

So,
she tries with all her might,
loves like she has never been hurt,
lives like there is no tomorrow,
for she knows that her happiness lies in none other than her own hands & she doesn't want the present to become her regret of tomorrow.

ANGRY

If it is just once or twice, I will think it is no big deal.
If it is just 15 to 30 minutes, I will just smile & forget about it.

However, if it happens all the time & the length of waiting is simply atrocious, I wonder why do I have to spend that kind of time on waiting? I do believe I have better thing to do in life than to be wasting my time & my life like that.

For this entry, I am not going to pen down too much feeling as I do admit I am still 在气头上 & I do not wish to quarrel over this. But do understand that just because I choose to be tolerant most of the time doesn't mean I have no temper & I have to stand such nonsense all the time.

Supposed to meet at 6pm.

5.15pm: Received sms to meet at 7pm instead.

7.05pm: Received sms that she would be SLIGHTLY late & would reach at 7.30pm so I waited near the control station naively believing that she would reach by then when I could have shopped around if I know that she would not be reaching any time soon.

7.40pm: She was nowhere to be seen so I decided to give her a call.
Our conversation as follow:
Me: Hello.
She: Mm... mm... mm... (This went on for 2 entire minutes while I just kept repeating, "Hello!". I deduced later that she was eating at home while I was waiting for her at the mrt station, alone & hungry. WTH, right?)
Me: Where are you?
She: At the bus stop, reaching soon.
Me: (hint of frustration) Which bus stop? Where EXACTLY?
She: Mm... At the bus stop near my house. (Note: her house is probably an hour journey to town if she opt for public transport)
Me: WHAT? It is 7.40pm now & you are still near your place yet you are taking bus? I am not that free as to be spending so much time waiting for you. I have better things to do, you know.
She: Oh... What are doing later?
Me: I have a paper early tomorrow morning & I need to mug. (I believe the point here is not about whether I have something on or if I have plan later because even if I don't, I don't think it means that it is justifiable to let someone else wait for you like that)
She: Ok. Sorry, sorry, I will cab down.

Another half an hour passed & she would have reached if she really have cabbed down.
8.10pm: Called her, her sister answered instead saying that she has left her phone home & left 15 minutes ago. (Note: she told me she was outside waiting for bus when I called 30 minutes ago but apparently, she was still home even 15 minutes after I called sounding obviously angry)

8.15pm: Went to have dinner on my own as I was famished.

9.00pm: Decided to go home. Walked one round around the Orchard mrt control station but no sign of her. Not a single call from her either. I know she did not bring her phone but please don't tell she did not know that paid phone existed or she could not get any kind passerby to lend her his/her phone for a quick call.

10.45pm: FINALLY a sms from her. She said she went to CK Tang where we wanted to go but did not see me.
