She tried, then she failed.
She trusted, she was disappointed.

But ultimately,
she still dreams,
still believes in all the beautiful things in this world:
kindness,
promises &
true love.

So,
she tries with all her might,
loves like she has never been hurt,
lives like there is no tomorrow,
for she knows that her happiness lies in none other than her own hands & she doesn't want the present to become her regret of tomorrow.

The power of social network

Honestly, I have never been too obsessed with social network sites like Facebook. I hardly use them as evident from a recent incident whereby my friend posted a message on my Facebook's wall requesting me to help him purchase something from Hong Kong while I was there, only to have me telling him that I did not know about it since I did not log onto Facebook while I was overseas. Well, the only reason I have account for Fackbook is so that friends would stop prompting & urging me to sign up for one.

However, I am so glad that I have a Facebook account now.

Reason?

So what happened was that after writing an angry email to Iherb & writing an entry about how upset I was with Iherb, I found out that Iherb has a Facebook page & decided to rant on its wall as above.

Guess what?

I received an apologetic email promptly from a guy called Steve on Iherb asking me to send the document to him instead & so I did.

& TADA.

I opened an email this morning & saw an email telling me that my parcel has been shipped out.

WOW.

For over a month, I have been emailing them asking why the status of my order was still "Waiting for Approval", why they took so long to process to order & why my parcel was not shipped out yet. At first, they replied promptly. Then they started taking days to reply or even resort to not replying my email. All the while, my order was NOT PROCESSED at all & for the entire month, I kept logging onto my Iherb account only to see the status "Waiting to be approved".

However, all it took was a message on their Facebook's wall & my parcel was processed, shipped out & what I have to do is just waiting for the parcel to arrive which should take less than a week since I have chosen DHL shipping.

So, really. Facebook is power. =)
