busy

That's what I was busy with the past few days. "Buy to Save" organised by United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), a charity designer sale selling gently used designer clothes, shoes, bags and accessories featuring brands like Gucci, Issey Miyaki, Ermenegildo Zegna, Georgio Armani, etc.

The sale was held at Intercontinental Hotel near Bugis Junction & the proceed of the sale would be going towards actions that support women who are victims of neglect and violence.

Before the start of the second day of the sale.

A DKNY T-shirt was given to each volunteer.

The respond of the sale was overwhelming and the sale drew a large crowd. People were grabbing the items as though they were free. Good sign.

There was also auction for two of the pieces available.

Buy to save. I have. Hope my little contribution would help help in building a better life for the needy. =)

Went down to town after the sale & decided that it was a little early to go home right after the dinner & movie. So, we headed to Orchard Road because I was in the Christmas mood & wanted to look at christmas trees.

At Tangs. The christmas tree is on the roof of the structure.

Paragon. Prettiest, as usual. & the best thing is that they do not switch off the light when they close the mall so it looks pretty all night long.
